Link field

The Link field in FormApe is an input box to collect URL from users.

This field is handy when you need respondents to provide links to websites, documents, or other online resources.

Create a link field

Accessing the field option

Choose an existing or create a new form.

In the form editor, choose the link field from the field options.

Configuration of the link field

• label: Type the desired label into the input box provided. For example, you can enter "Website URL" or "Resource Link."
• placeholder: In the input box, type a sample value or hint text. such as "Enter your link" or "https://example.com."
• required: Toggle the switch to the "On" position (green) to make the field required.

Click the "Publish" button to make your form live.

The link only accepts the URL like https://www.example.com.
